Afrium Class of Research
The most rigorous program Afrium offers. Selected researchers work under national and international mentors, PhD scholars, professors, and high-tech lab personnel to produce real AI research. All work is published on arXiv, Papers with Code, and Hugging Face. Exceptional papers are submitted to NeurIPS, ICLR, and ACL workshops. 20–30 seats.
Afrium Class of ML
A rigorous engineering program for undergraduates who want to go beyond Jupyter notebooks. Work with messy Pakistani datasets to design, train, and deploy production-ready machine learning pipelines and APIs. 20–30 seats.
Afrium Summer of Code
Pakistan's 1st ASoC. A highly selective program where 50 students build 5 nationally significant AI systems for Pakistan. Beginners welcome.

The Selection Process
Our selection process is designed to be fair, challenging, and rewarding. Every stage is built to ensure that even if you aren't selected for this cohort, you walk away having learned something new or built something you're proud of.
Application
Free • 10 Minutes
Submit your basic details and answer one short question. We don't care about your GPA or prior experience. We just want to know why you want to be here.
Screening
Free • 30 Minutes
A short, challenging test evaluating your critical thinking. No coding required for Research/ML. AI tools are permitted, but originality is what counts.
Assessment
48 Hours
Build a mini-project or write a research proposal. A small commitment fee (Rs. 1,000) applies for Research & ML to ensure serious participation. Summer of Code is free.
